The Gloucestershire junior Under 17 Girls comprising Ellie Lake, Kip Quiney, Joely Bennett, Amber Peacey and Florie Smith travelled to Lilleshall for the Under 17 Girls Inter County Finals on Saturday, 17 March and Sunday, 18 March. This team was determined not to be outperformed by the Girls Under 15 and Under 19 who had jubilantly triumphed last weekend. Gloucestershire were the favourites and lived up to their reputation by beating Northumbria 5:0 in the semi-finals and then repeating this outstanding performance against Warwickshire in the Finals. Gloucestershire Girls had completed the hat trick. What a great performance by these determined, resourceful young ladies.
