New Season
We start the new season with the Boys U15 team as National Inter
County Champions and additional successes in the Girls U19 and Boys U19 teams who
also made the National finals in Manchester earlier this year.
We also had finalists in the National Championships with the
Girls and Boys U13 and Boys UI17 teams. With so many other success stories throughout every age group,
the Gloucestershire Juniors are the new force to be reckoned
with!

Junior County Closed Tournament
The annual Junior County Closed will be played over the
weekend of Saturday/Sunday 27/28th Sept (and possibly Friday 26th
Sept if required). If you enter for the Doubles event, you must
also be available to play on Thursday 25th Sept. The singles event is compulsory for players who wish to qualify for National Junior Ranking.
Closing date for entries: Tuesday 16th Sept 2008.

County Trials
County trials are compulsory for the younger age groups. It is hoped that
there will also be a qualified referee there to give a talk on
marking and refereeing. In previous years, this has been very
beneficial to the younger players. This event is to be held at Cheltenham College on Sunday 7th Sept at the following times:
Boys U11, U13, U17 09:30am - 12:30pm 2 courts for each age group
Boys U11, U13, U15, U17 12:30pm - 01:30pm Marking & refereeing (compulsory)
Girls U11, U13, U15, U17 12:30pm - 01:30pm Marking & refereeing (compulsory)
Boys U15 01:30am - 04:30pm 3 courts
Girls U13, U15, U17 01:30am - 04:30pm 3 courts
